Pinery Water & Wastewater District supplies water to about 11,600 residents living in The Pinery area of Douglas County. Founded in 1971, Pinery Water & Wastewater District collects water from seven shallow wells that draw from Cherry Creek and eighteen deeper wells that draw from the Denver Basin Aquifer.
