Piedmont has multiple water providers: Piedmont Utilities and Fords Valley Water. This page provides information about Piedmont Utilities.

The Piedmont Utilities Board provides water service to about 8,073 residents living in the Piedmont area of Calhoun County, Alabama. The Water Department of Piedmont Utilities collects water from Ladiga Creek formed from limestone springs and a new well on Sports Complex Road, which can produce 200 gallons per minute. The water is chemically treated with chlorine, aluminum sulfate, and soda ash and filtered to produce potable water.
