Brewton Water Works is a public community water system under the City Utilities Department that provides water to about 9,756 residents living in Brewton, a city in and the county seat of Escambia County, Alabama. Founded in 1885, the Brewton Water Works System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily five wells that drill into the Lisbon Aquifer underneath the area. Additionally, the system has six tanks with a storage capacity of 2.275 million gallons.
