The City of Headland Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 5,700 residents living in Headland in Henry County Alabama. Founded in 1871, the Headland Water Department System currently obtains its supply sources, primarily wells that drill into the aquifer underneath the area of Headland and Henry County.
