The Utility Board of the City of Roanoke provides water services to about 7,371 residents in the Roanoke area of Randolph County, Alabama. The Utility Board manages two water treatment facilities and obtains water from Crystal Lake, a 74-acre watershed lake north of town on Highway 431, and Jones Creek Reservoir, which is nearby the filter plant off Highway 22 and acts as a backup source.
