The City of Springville Water supplies water to about 6,015 residents of Springville in St. Clair County, Alabama. Springville City Water Department purchases water from Coosa Valley Water and Trussville Utilities and obtains groundwater from the Knox Aquifer. The water from Trussville Utilities comes from eight groundwater wells pumping from Tuscumbia-Fort Payne chert and Bangor limestone aquifers. The City also maintains an emergency connection with Odenville Water and operates five storage tanks of 1.4 million gallons capacity. The water is treated with chlorine before distribution.
