Opelika has multiple water providers: Opelika Utilities and Beulah Utilities. This page provides information about Beulah Utilities.

The Beulah Utilities District supplies water to about 10,389 residents living in the Opelika area of Lee County. Beulah Utilities receives treated surface water from Opelika Utilities Board, whose water source is Halawakee Creek or Saugahatchee Lake. The water undergoes treatment processes such as oxidation, coagulation, pH adjustment, filtration, chlorination, and fluoridation to make it clean and potable.
