The Hamilton Water & Wastewater Department supplies water to about 10,500 residents living in the Hamilton area in the center of Marion County, Alabama. Founded in 1983, the Hamilton Water & Wastewater Department has one clear well and nine ground storage tanks, with a capacity of over 3.4 million gallons, and collects water from these facilities to serve the residents. The Water Department maintains a supplemental and emergency supply with the Guin Water and Sewer Board.
