The Town of Odenville Utility Board (OUB) provides water for about 30,000 residents living in the Odenville area, Alabama, and the rest of central St. Clair County. Established in 1914, the Town of Odenville obtains its supply from a groundwater source, eight wells that draw water from three primary aquifers. These aquifers are Tuscumbia Limestone/Ft. Payne Chert, Hartselle Sandstone, Floyd Shale, and Bangor Limestone. The Odenville Utilities Board also purchases a portion of our water supply from the Coosa Valley Water Supply District (CVWSD).

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about Odenville Utility Board? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, Odenville Utility Board received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
