City of Weaver Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 6,591 residents living in Weaver, Calhoun County, Alabama. Founded in 1945, the City of Weaver Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily three wells that drill into the Conasauga Aquifer underneath the area. Additionally, an interconnection with the Anniston Water and Sewer Board is available for backup. Weaver Water has two tanks with a total storage capacity of 850,000 gallons and a 60-mile distribution system.
