Daphne has multiple water providers: Daphne Utilities, Belforest Water, and Spanish Fort Water, view all. This page provides information about Spanish Fort Water.

Spanish Fort Water System is a public community water system under the local government that provides water to about 9,264 residents living in Spanish Fort, in Baldwin County, Alabama. Founded in 1964, the Spanish Fort Water System currently obtains its supply from a blend of sources. First, system-owned groundwater sources, primarily two wells that drill into the Miocene Aquifer underneath the area: Well #5 which is located at Water Tower Road, and Well #4 behind the Rouses Shopping Center. Other sources are purchased from two sources: surface water supply from Converse Reservoir from Big Creek Lake provided by the Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS), and groundwater supplied by North Baldwin Utilities, primarily from nine wells that pump from the Pliocene-Miocene Aquifer.
